Ford Focus 1.6 (115) poor fuel economy..help! - alex823 Sounds about right. I'm currently averaging 32mpg in a 1.6 petrol C4 though I do drive with my foot to the floor everywhere. The Ford Focus may be one of the world’s best selling a brand-new 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol from the EcoBoost family. The Focus’s combined cycle fuel consumption
The Ford Focus RS's engine is a turbocharged petrol, 2.5 litre, double overhead camshaft 5 cylinder with 4 valves per cylinder. This powerplant has an output of 301 bhp (305 PS/224 kW) of power at 6500 rpm, and maximum torque of 440 N·m (325 lb·ft/44.9 kgm) at 2250-4500 rpm. The engine transmits power to the wheels via a 6 speed manual gearbox.
What is the BHP, top speed, torque, and CO2 emissions of Focus Hatchback 2011? Power. 123 bhp. Top Speed. 122 mph. 0-60 mph. 10.6 secs. Torque. 159 Nm, 117 ft-lb. I have an 02 1.8 zetec petrol. On a full tank of about £40 I normally get 400-450 miles depending how I drive I have found driving at 60 gives the best mpg. I normally fill up with £20 and get about half a tank (depending what the price of petrol is that week) and get about 170-180 miles which is just short city journeys, 10-15 miles. I admit to driving a bit with the fuel light on (probably, 20 miles). This is a combined driving, the trip computer before reset says 26 mph. All in all the average consumption with V-Power was a decent 39.3 mpg. The tank was filled before the recent price hike and overall it returned £0.15 per mile.
